    　1. The North Pole is 360 degrees away from the South Pole.

    　北極在南極的正對面。

    　2. The budget shortfall was able to be solved by selling bonds.

    　預算赤字可以藉由賣出債券來解決。

    　3. Mary is their adoptive child.

    　瑪莉是他們所領養的小孩。

    　4. John is advocating for the blind people.

    　約翰正提倡盲人福祉。

    　5. Your effort was all for not.

    　你的努力徒勞無功。

    　6. All of the sudden the police grabbed this thief around the neck.

    　猛不防警察抓住了小偷的脖子。

    　7. It's amoral to cheat.

    　欺騙是不道德的。

    　8. Bill tries to finish this project as best as he can. 　Bill嘗試竭力完成這項企畫案。

    　Debugged：

    　1. The North Pole is 180 degrees away from the South Pole.

    　當我們旋轉360度的時候，我們將完成一個圓，而回到原點。所以當你要描述一個地方，正好相對於某一個地方的時候，應使用180 degrees away。

    　2. The company was able to solve the budget shortfall by selling bonds.

    　公司可以藉由賣出債券來解決預算赤字的問題。人可以作事情，但是若是事情當主詞，則不能使用be able to加被動語態。

    　3. Mary is their adopted child.

    　不要把adopted跟adoptive混淆了，adoptive用於形容收養的人，例如the adaptive parents，而adopted則是形容被收養的人，像the adopted children。

    　4. John is advocating the welfare for blind people.

    　advocate正確的用法應該是advocate某事for某人，這樣句意才會清楚，否則會讓人弄不清要提倡某人的甚麼事情。

    　5. Your effort was all for naught.

    　naught是名詞，「無、零」的意思，不要跟not混淆了。

    　6. All of a sudden the police grabbed this thief around the neck.

    　「突然」是all of a sudden (=suddenly)，而非all of the sudden。

    　7. It's immoral to cheat.

    　immoral是「不道德的」，而amoral則是「不分是非的、無關道德的」。

    　8. Bill tries to finish this project as best he can.

    　在表達竭其所能的時候，你可以說try to be as good as you can be，不過若是使用as best之時，do something as best you can 或是do the best (that) you can才是對的。
