形容女生「花瓶」，有外型好看但沒內涵的負面之意，可說：She’s nothing but a pretty face.（她除了美貌什麼都沒有。）but是副詞，意為「僅僅…，只是…」。也可說She’s just another pretty face.（她不過是另一張漂亮臉蛋罷了。）
A：This supermodel thought that Paris Hilton is a Hilton hotel situated in Paris. （這名模以為芭莉絲．希爾頓是巴黎的希爾頓飯店。）
B：Well, she’s just another pretty face. A pretty face and intelligence just don’t go together!（嗯，她是個花瓶啊。漂亮臉蛋和聰明才智就是無法並存！）
